I am writing this blog post to support my YouTube video about the BLUELAND cleaning products I ordered, and tried this past week.
My Take on the BLUELAND Cleaning Product Line
SHIPPING
I purchase the “Clean Essentials Kit” online from BlueLand, and to my surprise, it was delivered in about 3 days from New York City to my house in San Diego, CA. I was shocked at how quickly it came, especially because of the times we are living in now, and how long it’s taking all of my Amazon purchases to come.
Just for an idea of what I was thinking, I purchased 16 items from Carters for Kennedy two weeks ago that hasn’t even shipped yet, so this oder, shipping, receiving timeline was AMAZING!
Everything was packaged very nicely, and tightly snug, so nothing would break, and ultimately, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bottles, the job that the products did, and how great everything was.
QUALITY
The quality of the bottles is really nice! The three cleaner bottles are made of a heavy duty acrylic, so they are definitely made to last a lot longer than regular plastic spray bottles. The hand soap bottle, which is my favorite, of course, is made out of glass, which I think really gives it a superior feel and look to a plastic hand soap bottle that you would buy at Target. I am not sure if the acrylic bottles would survive a fall off a counter top, as I can definitely see them getting damaged if that were to happen, but a couple bumps or bruises and these bottle should be able to last.
EASE OF USE
“Putting together” the bottles and dropping in the tablets was very easy! They have a clearly labeled system so I it would be difficult to mess it up. The pink colored tablet labeled “bathroom” goes in the pink colored bottle labeled “bathroom.”
One you drop the tablets into the warm water, you wait until they dissolve, put on the lid, and they are ready to go! Very, Very easy and hard to screw up!
CLEANING POWER
GLASS AND MIRROR CLEANER – The glass and mirror cleaner is just as good, if not better than Windex. I was concerned, at first, because the mirror that I decided to clean was very foggy (watch the video below to see what I mean). But after about a minuted, the fog went away, and left a spotless, clean mirror, WITHOUT the harsh smell of Windex. I was amazed. This product definitely hits the mark!
BATHROOM CLEANER – This cleaner is great. It has a light Eucalyptus scent, and gets the job done! I wouldn’t say that it is any better than any other bathroom cleaner I have ever used, but it is JUST AS GOOD. If you are wanting to try to create less waste, and contribute to a cleaner world, then this product would be a great addition to your cleaning cabinet!
MULTI-SURFACE CLEANER – I used this OUTSIDE on our table that is pretty exposed to dirt, grime and just general ickiness, and it did an outstanding job at cleaning up the mess. I normally use windex on the table outside, since it does have a glass table top, but the multi-surface cleaner did a wonderful job at cleaning right up.
HAND SOAP – The only really differentiating factor in this hand soap is that it is definitely NOT a moisturizing hand soap. My hands were left feeling a little dry after using it, but, as with most soaps, I am trying to get my hands CLEAN, not moisturized. This is definitely not a make or break for me, but it could be for other people.
SCENT
GLASS AND MIRROR CLEANER – This has NO SCENT, which I think is great. It cleans just as well as Windex without the terrible smell, so that’s an A+ from me.
BATHROOM CLEANER – The bathroom cleaner has a very slight Eucalyptus Mint scent, but its barely noticable.
MULTI-SURFACE CLEANER – This cleaner has a VERY light lemon scent, which is pleasant, and not too strong!
HAND SOAP – THE SMELL OF THIS HAND SOAP. In the video, I thought the scent was IBIS AGAVE when it’s actually IRIS AGAVE. I ripped the package open so when I read it after I interpreted the R and a B but REGARDLESS, THIS SOAP SMELLS AMAZING IN THIS SCENT. I have yet to try the other two scents they offer for the hand soap, Lavender Eucalyptus and Perrine Lemon, but the Iris Agave Scent is TO DIE FOR. Give it to me in candle or room spray from PLEASE!
